Crossroads
Hockey fight
If an even number of people are in the colony:
Someone found an old dvd of the best hockey fights. As the crowd gets in close around the television, A melee of verbal abs and jeers are thrown. Next thing people are grabbing brooms, mops, and other items as a make shift hockey game on the floor. One of the guys always has to play rough and hip checks someone else over a pile of cardboard boxes.
Option one: forget about it and morale goes down by 1
Option two: have the characters with the highest and lowest rating each take a wound and morale goes up by 1
Option three: Have each player in the colony take one wound and add 2 to morale and food supply
Board Games
If the player performs a search with a survivor at the school or library
"Hey guys, look what I found! Let's take these games back home! Seems perfect to lighten up those long, silent evening. Anybody in for a game of Monopoly?"
Option one: You take the board games to the colony, roll a die, on 3 or higher everyone has a fun relaxing time while playing a few games, gain 1 morale. On a result of 1, tensions rise as dominant personalities argue about rules and sore losers pout. Things quickly got out of hand then someone gets accused of cheating. Lose 1 morale
Option two: you leave the games where you found them. Nothing happens
Sherlock
If the player performs a search with a survivor at the library
As you go down the aisles of books you jump as your light shines on two yellow eyes peering through the shelves! You reach for a weapon when suddenly the eyes jump down from the shelf and sprint to the end of the aisle - you can see the creature clearly now: it's Sherlock, the library's cat!
Option 1: Everyone remove a food card from the game to equip Sherlock to a survivor, Sherlock adds a food to the colony each turn
Option 2: The cat runs, nothing happens
Option 3: (Alexis Gray or Emma Hen needed for this) the cat recognizes the familiar face and runs to her, circling and rubbing her legs, equip sherlock to Emma/Alexis, Sherlock adds a food to the colony each turn by keeping the mice out
Fourth Wall
If a survivor the player controls is at the colony and there are 1 or more helpless survivors at the colony:
Wilson's conspiracy theories are starting to become annoying. His latest one is even crazier than the rest: "Hey man, do you ever feel like we're all just pieces moving around in some game? If only we could change the rules! Or find our way out!"
Option one: You sit and listen. It all starts to make sense, the zombies, the survivors, the supplies, the dice sounds from going outside, its as if there is a set of rules to it! For the remainder of the game, when moving survivors that you control you may set the exposure die to a face of your choosing
Option two: "Crazy fool" you mutter to yourself as you walk away. The next morning Wilson is nowhere to be seen. Was he right? did he escape the game? or did he just wander off and get bitten? either way things are alot quieter now, +1 Morale -1helpless survivor
