Our premium permeable pavers provide an alternative to standard pavers. They are packed with gravel or limestone and compacted into a firm surface. HDPE plastic from post-consumer sources is used to create our interlocking permeable paver. Plastic that may otherwise end up in landfills is reused. Additionally, a pressure-pin locking device is used to interlock our pavers. After installation, it produces a sizable, uniform surface onto which aggregate may be spread out and compacted. This creates a surface that is firm and solid and can withstand the weight of huge trucks and other vehicles. When properly laid, the paver will let the water run beneath the surface, preventing tire ruts.
In fact, even without the addition of aggregate material, the pavers are sturdy enough to be driven on top of. Plastic from post-consumer recycled materials is used to make the pavers. The carbon footprint is less and there is less garbage transported to landfills when post-consumer resource material is used instead of fresh, raw material. Additionally, it lowers the amount of microplastics in the environment and the energy needed to create the tiles. The plastic paver must then be set in place, followed by a landscape cloth, and the gravel of your choice.
