Tasseomancy
Tasseography atau Tasseomancy adalah tradisi meramal dengan daun teh. Berawal dari daerah koloni Inggris. Ketika itu, pemerintah Inggrislah yang mendorong penanaman daun teh dan kopi di Tiongkok. Ramalan daun teh dibawa pendatang Eropa ke negara mereka. Pengetahuan ini kemudian diadaptasi oleh orang orang gipsy yang terkenal dengan ilmu nujum & ramalannya di Eropa.
Meramal dengan daun teh dianggap objektif karena melibatkan unsur positif dan negatif. Karena unsur positif dan negatif dipercaya sebagai dua aliran yang berperan penting untuk mencapai keseimbangan. Unsur positifnya berasal dari cangkir yang digunakan, sementara daun teh kering dianggap sebagai unsur negatif.
Bahan yang diperlukan: daun teh serbuk kasar atau teh celup. Seduh sesendok daun teh dalam cangkir dengan air mendidih. Tunggu hingga tehnya tidak terlalu panas, lalu minum dan sisakan sedikit airnya hingga terdapat ampas daun.
