The recurring character Cheryl in the HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm is known for her bizarre fits of laughter and unpredictable behavior, however she's not always a bad person. In the sixth season of the show, she's actually very supportive to Larry.


Cheryl is one of the few characters on the show that truly is concerned about others, so it's not surprising that she'd go incredible lengths to aid Larry in times of need. But her efforts to make Larry content come with an expense.



Throughout the season, we watch her trying to help him deal with his heart attack, and also his ongoing battle with alcoholism. In a scene, she tries to convince him to quit drinking and to adopt more healthy lifestyle.


If he does not her offer, she informs him that she's beginning to feel the effects of his drinking problem. Cheryl is irritated by her friend. She threatens to quit the show.


This long-running show has one of the best-rated episodes ever. This is also a good illustration of how a tiny but strong group can improve a scene. The cast is totally in sync here and everyone delivers lines that are funny and moving.


There are so many hilarious moments in this episode that it's hard to pick just a few. For starters, there's one scene in which Larry attempts to use the bathroom while at work and is stuck on a loud bathroom. He stands while his pisses off, even though he previously admitted to Tia Carrere that he usually sits.
