Every creative thought is a dialogue. Silent Planet Wall Clocks of their full-length collection, California metalcore band Silent Planet is not looking to be part of the conversation, but rather to lead it into uncharted territory. They weave together topics ranging from historical injustices to existential despair within the modern world. Their message is fuelled by a fervent indignation, a progressive instruments and a blazing message.

The band's new album is the most thoughtful and cohesive effort to date. Will Putney produced the album that perfectly captures the band's aggressive live sound, while also retaining more adventurous ambient elements. This is all accentuated by the main song's composer and guitarist Mitchell Stark's diverse arrangements, the distinctive rhythmic progression of drummer Alex Camarena, as well as the energetic vocal range of bassist Thomas Freckleton who vacillates between anthemic choruses and contemplative lyrics.
In a field that is full of stereotypes, Silent Planet have managed to stand out with their wide range of intellectual influences, anchored by lyricist and frontman, Garrett Russell's masters in psychology as well as field experiences as a mental health therapist that have brought them recognition since their beginnings in 2009. The genuine connection they have with their fans, who they refer to as "Lovers," not fans, has helped fuel their DIY-driven touring schedule, and also earned them the coveted "Underground Group of the Year" award at the APMA Awards.
Silent Planet, who released their critically acclaimed opus 2021 through Solid State Records in 2018 Returning to Aotearoa and New Zealand for the first time in their history. They'll be joined by Make Them Suffer as well as Norther Fires.
