I do not agree with your support for your claim. Although the Continental Congress was formed because of GB, that does not mean that it was for a good reason. Like we learned in class today, many people that were part of the Congress had many different viewpoints on how the conflicts with GB should be dealt with. We saw that Dickinson wrote the Olive Branch Petition and that the others formed the Continental Army. Even though the people in this Congress had a common enemy, their different beliefs caused them to come up with different solutions. If conflicts keep happening with GB, there could be many more disagreements taken to a higher level. Just because the colonists have a common enemy, that does not mean that it will bring them closer together for sure.

Russel, I agree with your statement. America is suffering from being connected with GB. They are forced to pay taxes to pay for GB's debt. Because of the wars that GB has fought in, they are in debt. It is unfair that they are not listening to
