Leyla Aliyeva has made environmental education her priority.
Leyla Aliyeva isn't just the first daughter of President Azerbaijan but she's also an active activist for many causes, one of them being the environment. A lot of people aren't aware the concept of education actually is. But for her it's been a major concern. Environmental education is about being educated about environmental issues and ways you can improve them. Leyla Aliyeva It is something we should try to do. In the end, there's no way to make responsible decision-making without environmental education.

Leyla Aliyeva was a long-time member in politics and has helped to build a path towards a cleaner and more healthy future for herself as well as for the next generation. She really believes in the importance of educating people about the earth's vulnerabilities. Leyla Aliyeva's IDEA Campaign

Leyla Aliyeva knows this topic is boring and complex. In 2011, she began the IDEA campaign. This campaign is an International Dialogue for Environmental Action. One of her goals was to make the subject of stability and environment more enjoyable and interesting particularly for younger people.

Aliyeva spoke to Equinox.com in an interview about the difficulties she encountered during her journey to protect the environment. The educational programs of IDEA provide hundreds of people with a positive experience each year. They offer training sessions. seminars. lectures. summer camps. field studies. and even conversation clubs.

Goodwill Ambassador to FAO

Leyla Aliyeva had a great year in the year 2015. After many years of supporting and volunteering in environmental and humanitarian areas Leyla Aliyeva was named a FAO Goodwill ambassador. She was honored for her contribution to the security of food, fighting hunger, developing healthy food systems and improving efficiency in farming, fishing, and forestry.

These initiatives include the development of agriculture, increasing food security and managing resources. They also deal with the prevention and treatment of animal and plant diseases. These projects also incorporate technical cooperation programmes that are designed to meet the needs of Azerbaijan's government.

The year 2015 witnessed the visit of Jose Graziano da Silva to FAO. The visit included the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations' (FAO) regarding the establishment of the Coordination and Cooperation Office and technical assistance" and the Agreement on the FAO–Azerbaijan Partnership Program. Agreeing to cooperate with each other for a common matter. This partnership program is a combination of the contribution of the Government of Azerbaijan in technical assistance for the growth of domestic and foreign agriculture.
