– How Seeds and Plants Grow
Seeds contain a very young and little plant inside a protective covering in which will start growing and developing by its embryo that contain the first basic parts for its growing. At one point the embryo begins to grow and germination occurs. During germination the plant start absorbing water. The seed coat breaks and the embryo starts to place its roots on the ground. When the plant get its first two leaves photosintesys occurs and the plant start to generate its own food

– How are growth and change related?
The plant start growing once it becomes active. The protective coat breaks open and its embryo start growing downwards roots. During the growing prcess of the plant it presents many changes.



– Two Brothers and the Pumpkin Seed
Kim and Chang are two korean brothers. One is kind and shared while the other is selfish and stingy. One day a little swallow fall from its nest and Kim picked up the bird trying to heal its bone. When Kim set free the swallow after being healed, the little bird returned with a pumpkin seed which Kim planted in the field. The pumpkin spreaded gold coins when it was cutted. Kim shared the coins with the people in the village. Chang saw what happened and he broke the leg of a swallow for healing the little bird and set it free. That swallow give Chang a seed too but when the pumpkin was harvested, instead of gold coins, spiders and snakes came out from the pumpkin vine, a few minutes later it dried.

– How are growth and change related?
The brothers in their growth stage begin to learn things, know good and hand. A brother is shared and the other selfish. The pumpkins were grown according to the intention of children grew so according to his way of thinking and Chang was carried away by his selfishness getting so bad. Chang, what happened, had to learn a lesson that did change their way of seeing things.



– Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry
Miss Crocker anounced to her students that everyone will have a book, but in the books only stories of white people were writen. The books were damaged too. But then Cassie knew that the books were given by race to students and the problem started when Little Man told that to Miss Crocker.
Little Man and Cassie received switches after rejecting their books.

- How are growth and change related?
Cassie and Little Man were taught them to live like other treated them and that changes their thinking as they come experiences like the one that happened with Miss Crocker

- Migration Patterns
Studies showed that more people that more people were moving every year on the United States of America. Most were aged up than 20's looking for new job opportunities or to start a new life elsewhere. Most people move between states, and not far away. Others leave the country. It was recorded in some years its population descend Southern.

- How are growth and change related?
When some people grow they start moving looking for new job oportunities or a new life style.



- Abuela Invents the Zero
Connie's Grandma was visiting the family and she was wearing a really big coat, that Connie got embarrased of her grandma. So when Connie take abuela to the church se acted like if she didn't knew her. And on the way back home abuela didn't talk to Connie because of her actions. When they arrived home grandma told connie "You made me feel like a zero, like a nothing".

- How are growth and change related
Connie learned because of her experience with her grandmother that the worst thing that a person can do to other is ignore it and make it feel worthless.
