When searching for entertainment in MN, there are countless activities to choose from. Located on the banks of the Minnesota River, this park houses 75 different rides and attractions, ranging from fast rollercoasters to a carousel perfect for younger visitors. The park is split into 6 different areas, including a waterpark, that is free with the price of admission to Valleyfair. The park can be often home to live entertainment; alongside rollercoasters and concerts, what more could an individual ask for?

The Scott County Historical Stans Museum was create in 1994, once the Stans Foundation presented the Scott County Historical Society with a grant. This grant was the solution the foundation had been looking for, as they had hoped to open a historical museum nearly 25 years earlier. check here is home to photographs, books, oral histories, and other artifacts that tell the story of the region hoping of preserving these details for future generations.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival occurs weekends in August through the finish of September. This premier outdoor event gives visitors ways to take a step back in time and experience what life was like through the Renaissance. While you can find Renaissance festivals and fairs that take place across the country each year, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival is probably the biggest and oldest events of its kind in the United States. With over 120 food booths, 275 crafters, and 700 entertainers, there's bound to be something for every relation to enjoy.

The Landing offers a unique experience for visitors, allowing them an opportunity to take a step back in time and see what life was like for residents of the region in the mid to late 1800s. This 88-acre attraction helps teach visitors how people living during that time interacted with both Minnesota River along with other surrounding natural resources. Actors dressed in period costume provide guided tours of the historical buildings in the Park, with demonstrations available during living history events, giving visitors a first-hand connection with what life was like.

There are a large number of reasons to visit Minnesota. With so many cultural and outdoor recreation to take part in, and beautiful natural and historical places to go to, there is bound to be something that appeals to everyone, regardless of age. Entertainment in MN is definitely not hard to come by, especially in the Shakopee area.
