1) Target side coding where we call TdhGetEventInformation Api and get the event details on the target side and then transfer it to host. The problem is event payload side is increased by around 40% plus the extra processing is needed on the target side.
2) Host side decoding.
As proposed by microsoft, do a map based on provider id + event id + event version as key on target and get event information and transfer to host.
So the question here is on first occurance on an event with a particular "provider id + event id + event version" how do we get event schema from on target using TDH api on one core. On desktop this can be done using winevt apis.
Even if we get event information using TDH api and transfer that to host on first occurance. and report only the reoccurance of event from target to host. Then the problem is even information will have some static data like event template, string templates etc it would be referring to. Plus some dynamic values which may change on every reoccurance of an event. So how do we selectively fetch static and dynamic data using tdh and reconstruct again on host.
