phylum nematodes
feeding: roundworms eat bacteria, algae, fungi and protozoans, although some are filter feeders
respiration: they breather throw there moist skin called diffusion
circulatory: do not have one
excrection: excret waste through there skin known as diffusion
response: they can detect between light and dark. also have something called a ganglia associated with nerve cells coordinate nematode response which is sensitive to touch and to chemicals
muscoskeleton: they have a cylindrical body with bilaterial symmetry. nematodes are motile using there muscles to squeeze in and out for movement
reproductive: female produce eggs male produce sperm done internally. larvae hatch from egg

phylum mollusca
feeding: use a radula a tongue like structure with teeth on it to scrape food into there mouth. herbivouris mullosks use the radula to scrape algae off rocks while carnivorous mollusks use there radula too drill into other mollusks and feed of there internal body parts. mollusks have complete guts with digestive glands, stomachs and intestines.
respiration: mollusks have gills whihc are apart of there mantle.
circulatory:they have a open circulatory system which includes a chambered heart. in a open circulatory system the there blood is pumped into open spaces where there organs are soaked in which absorbs the oxygen and nutrients. some mollusks have a closed circulatory system such as squids. a closed circulatory system the blood travels through blood vessels which goes straight to your body organs which is much faster transporting oxygen compared to a open circulatory system
excrection:mollusks get ride of metabolic waste through a structure called nephridia. after nephridia filters the blood the waste goes tthrough there mantle cavity
response:
muscoskeleton: bilateral symmetry, a soft internal body, muscular foot and mantle. mollusks are motle but very low moving with fast bursts
reproductive: reproduce externally, they release eggs and sperm into the ocean and the sperm will pass by the eggs and fertilize. some bivalves and many gastropods are hermaphrodites.
