Confidentiality: Attacks targeting confidential information such as names, phone numbers, and email addresses
Phishing: Masquerading as a legit source or service for the purpose of stealing information
Eavesdropping/Man-in-the-Middle: Unauthorized interception of communication between two or more parties to steal sensitive data
Data Breach: Unauthorized access and extraction of sensitive data, typically from databases
Spyware: A form of malware used to collect info about a user

Integrity: Attacks targeting integrity aim to modify or tamper with data
Data Tampering: Unauthorized alteration of data, such as modifying transactions
DNS Spoof: Providing false DNS responses to redirect users to unintended locations
Malware: Malicious software used to manipulate or destroy data on a victim's device
Man-in-the-Middle Attack: Used to alter the communication between two or more parties
Salami Slicing: Taking small amounts of money from multiple accounts that add up to a large sum without being detected

Availability: Attacks targeting availability aim to disrupt services and resources
DDoS Attack: Overwhelming a target with a flood of Internet traffic to render it unavailable
DoS Attack: Typically involves a single source trying to flood a network or service
Ransomware: Malware that encrypts a victim's files making them inaccessible until a ransom is paid
Resource Depletion: Consuming all available resources such as bandwidth, disk space, or processor time, making the system slow down or crash
Logic Bomb: Code inserted into software systems that triggers a malicious function when a condition is met, which can lead to a system failure
