Epilepsy bed alarm (also known as a seizure alert device) is an electronic device that can detect seizures and sound an alarm so that a caregiver can provide help.

Seizure detecting pad that can be placed beneath the mattress to monitor generalised tonic-clonic (GTC) seizures. The pad will detect abnormal movements that last for a certain amount of time, such as 10 seconds or longer, which will trigger an alarm that can be connected to an audible chime, a pager or to a wireless chime/personal pager.
Sensitivity adjustment to match the level of seizures that an individual is having. This feature is beneficial for reducing false alarms, which can be a real pain, especially when the person has several seizures a day.
