How To Play Omaha Poker ? A Beginner's Guide
One of the most important things you need to understand about this game: you are given seven cards from which to choose. Then, you are required make your final five cards.

Any hand that has two or more cards from the same card value or the same suit can be a 3-,2- or 1-card hand. This is because cards with the same value will only be allowed to remain, while the rest must be discarded. If two or more cards are of the same suit, then only the lowest card will remain.

It is known as a "community card game" because all players can use the same cards to make their best five card hand. In other words, each player will receive two private, face-down cards, also known as hole or supplementary cards. These cards are not visible to the other player. There will be several betting rounds, and five community or shared cards will be dealt. These cards will be dealt face up. Players will attempt to create the best possible 5 card hand by using any combination of the 7 cards they have (2 private cards, 5 shared cards). The same principle applies to all poker games.
