외환카드 주가조작과 관련해 파기 환송심에서 벌금형을 선고받은 외환은행의 대주주인 미국계 사모펀드 론스타가 재상고를 하지 않기로 결정해 유죄가 확정됐습니다.
외환은행 매각 작업이 속도를 낼 것으로 보입니다.

외환카드 주가 조작 파기환송심에서 벌금형을 선고받은 론스타의 재상고 시한이 오늘인데요, 론스타 측 관계자는 오늘 오전 론스타가 내부 회의를 통해 재상고를 하지 않겠다는 입장을 밝혀왔다고 전했습니다.
이에 따라 론스타의 유죄가 확정됐습니다.
