More than one hundred prison inmates are going to work in the industrial sector as a part of a vocational programme through the Samut Prakan Central Prison, which is southeast of Bangkok. Justice Minister Somsak Thepsuthin says it goals to supply inmates with “an alternative to enhance their industrial skills and enhance the possibility of employment after they end serving their sentence.”
During the work release programme, the one hundred forty five prisoners involved might want to put on electronic monitoring bracelets. ติดตั้งโซล่าเซลล์ ราคา says the entrepreneurs involved in the initiative will present lodging, wages and different benefits as required by Thailand’s labour law. The monitoring bracelets have been used for 1000's of prisoners in house detention and the Department of Probation’s director-general says it has been successful.
“Entrepreneurs can rest assured that the launched prisoners won't trigger issues to your companies, as they will be monitored always via the bracelets. We also have deployed officers and volunteers to control released prisoners at workplaces periodically.”
Just two firms have joined the initiative thus far, however the Justice Minister says he hopes extra businesses will be part of the programme..
