Direction: After reading the Parable of the Sower, think about this questions: 

          1.What resulted when the seed fell on each type of soil?
         the effects of the seeds when they were planted in various environments. The birds consumed the early seeds. The                   second one doesn't survive for very long when exposed to the light because it was dropped on a rocky area with                        insufficient soil.The third was a thorny soil where it thrived but later choked the plants. The final seeds were dropped on              healthy soil, which thrived and produced crops one hundred times larger than those that were originally seeded.

          2.What does the “seed” represent? Why, in your estimation, is this such an appropriate figure?
         The "seed" is a metaphor for the divine word. The image of the seed is apt because it depicts how the word of God will             spread across many types of people. Like seeds need water, sunlight, and healthy soil to thrive, the word of God also                    flourishes via our faith in Him.

         3.How did Jesus conclude his parable? What did he mean by that? (13:9) 
         <  Whoever has ears, let them hear, says the Bible text in Matthew 13:9.  He is advising the listeners on the choices they          should make

          4,Why do some listeners discover the truth in a parable and others do not?
          Because some listeners do not take the Bible seriously and have weaker confidence in God than others, not all of the                     listeners are able to discern the meaning of a parable. They do not pay attention, merely hear it.

        5. What kind of people today might be represented by the seeds?
         The people of today who reflect the original surroundings of the seeds represent those who disregarded God's                                  commandments. The second category included people with a weak trust in God who find it simple to let go. The                     following batch of seeds possess faith but are nevertheless wary of God's word and lured by growth and material wants.               The final seeds have a strong faith that they apply to themselves and use to flourish; their top priority is spiritual                                  development.


        6.Why was Jesus speaking in parables?
            He used parables because He thought that only those who comprehend—who have confidence in Him and are willing               to open their hearts to Him—are able to see and hear the word of God. Through this, individuals are also taught the Bible                    in an engaging manner

        7.What do you believe is the main lesson to be learned from this parable?
         Our key takeaway from this fable is that if a "seed" is not in a healthy environment, it will quickly wither and cease to                    grow.If we weren't raised in a healthy environment, we should make an effort to do so. We should remove ourselves                 from the environment so that the seeds inside of us can grow to a hundred times their original size
