Sino si Daniel? Siya ay isa sa mga natatanging Israelita na napiling maglingkod sa palasyo ng haring Nabucodonosor nang ang Juda ay masakop ng Babilonia. Binigyan siya ng Diyos ng ng lahat ng uri ng kaalaman lalo na ang kaalaman ukol sa panaginip. Nakita ng hari ang natatanging kaalaman na ito ni Daniel na higit pa kaysa sa mga salamangkero at engkantador ng kaharian. Nang ang hari ay mabagabag dahil sa isang panaginip, naipaliwanang ni Daniel ang kahulugan niyon kahit di sinabi ng hari ang tungkol sa kanyang panaginip. Hindi ito nagawa ng mga salamangkero ng kanyang kaharian.
Who was Daniel? He was one of the Hebrews who was chosen to serve in the palace when Juda was conquered by Babylonia. God gave Daniel all kinds of knowledge and skill particularly the gift of interpreting visions and dreams which is absolutely greater than the knowledge of magician of the kingdom. When Nebuchadnezzar became very much worried when he had a dream, Daniel was able to reveal the meaning of the king’s dream even though the king did not tell them what his dream was.
2. Sa tulong ng Diyos ay nagawa ni Daniel na maipaliwanag ang panalangin ng hari kahit pa hindi nito sinabi ang anuman tungkol sa kanyang panaginip. Ang kapangyarihan at kaalaman ng Diyos ay higit sa anumang kaalaman na narito sa lupa. Dapat lagi tayong magtiwala sa Kanya na magagawa Niyang bigyan ng lunas ang lahat ng suliranin kahit pa iniisip ng tao na ito ay hindi na malulunasan. Sapamamagitan ng pananalangin naipahahayag natin ang totoong pagtitiwala natin sa Kanya.
With the help of God, Daniel revealed to the king the meaning of his dream without the king telling him what his dream was all about. The power and wisdom of God is greater than anything/anyone on earth. We should always trust God that with his power, he can give to us the answer to all our questions, solution to all our problems however difficult it may seem to us. Through prayers, we can show to God that we truly trust in Him.
