The author supports the arguments that banning plastic bag in favor of paper ones is not a good solution to the problem of waste because it is more dangerous than making plastic bag and it's because it involves the dangerous use of dangerous chemicals such as sulfur that are released into the air and water.
So, the author supports his claim because using paper bags isn't good for the environment because it is more dangerous than making plastic bags as it says in paragraph 4 "Shockingly, making paper bags is more harmful to the earth than making plastic bags.". This shows it's not a great idea to use paper bags instead of plastic bags.
Also, the author supports his claim by saying in the text that it's dangerous use of dangerous chemicals such as sulfur that are released into the air and water as it says in paragraph 4 "Chemicals such as sulfur that are released into the air and water.". As you can see the author is supporting his argument by showing evidence that it isn't the best alternative to change plastic bags to paper bags.Z
This shows that banning paper bags isn't a good alternative for plastic bags because it's harmful and bad for the planet as you can see by the evidence supporting the authors reasons.
