Well......I was born and raised in nagaland, a.....nd the word naga means "people+with+earrings."
Nagalnd is a tribal region. it almost has about 66 tribes and out of which 16 are major tribes.
all the tribes have different languages.............. which represent thier own culture and home.....So,..... Nagaland is popluar for its Tribal festivel.
The most famous and popular festival in nagaland is the Hornbill festivel, as on this festivel,my people celebrate everyyear in the month of
dec starting form 1 dec till 10 dec, on this festivels people enjoy with music, love and do parties, and make most memorable time.
They make different dishes with thier own style which belong to thier respective tribes, During this festive season, friends and family
gather and they celebrate together with folk songs and dance which help them appreciate thier tradition and history of nagaland.
The climate of nagaland is very pleasant -----16 to 31 degree is the usual range, ...and the terrain is mostly hilly.
dzuku valley which is located in kisama village in kohima and its the capital of nagaland, which'z divided into four , east,
west north and south,
Everyear, people whohave moved abroad say to places like USA and UK, they return home to pay their respects to the soldiers who were part of the 2nd World war.
Nagaland has very beautiful when it comes to nature with lots of greenery and the people of nagaland love planting flowers,
such as gerenium and also ther flowers.
The food in nagaland is predominantly non-vegetarian. It usually includes red meat, pork, wild boar and bamboo shoot
and the people of nagaland love eating snacks that are boiled---- most of the time, they also love to eat green leafy vegetables.
Mostly,.........bamboo shoot is used to give a unique flavour to thier cusine, which makes the dish moretaste more organic.
also people in nagaland love sports and the most popular sport in nagaland is wrestinlg, They represent their respecctive villages in the competition.
The People of nagaland like to dress like the americans or europeans ....I mean the modern fashion....And thats pretty much about Nagaland.
