Nobel Prize in physics won by trio who created rapid flashes of sunshine to look at electrons transfer
The 2023 Nobel Prize in physics has been awarded to Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz and Anne L’Huillier for creating “flashes of sunshine which are brief sufficient to take snapshots of electrons’ extremely fast movements,” the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced in Stockholm on Tuesday.

“They were able to, in a sense, provide an illumination device that enables us to observe the assembly of molecules: how issues come collectively to make a molecule,” Bob Rosner, president of the American Physical Society and a professor at the University of Chicago, told CNN.
