How could somebody so tall fall so low?

Everybody talks about anything, even the nobodies, so, if you don't want them to talk about nothing, you just have to give them something to talk about. That's why there is always juicy gossip around, not the "Sarah-just-blushed-a-bit" but in the "there-was-a-condom-in-the-bathroom-where-Lucy-walked-out-of" kinda way. I prefer to have them talk about that something that is actually true.

"I don't like keeping my hopes up. If i'm negative, i'm never dissapointed if it turns out bad, but if it turns out well, i'm pleasantly surprised. If i was always positive about everything, i would be crushed, and if something turned out good, i'd be indifferent. And, i prefer never losing. When i was little, i was very optimistic, and look at where that got me. My mom isn't here, and my dad lost hope on me. I take to safer optiopn of not expecting anything from anyone, because in life if you want something, you gotta get it yourself. I don't expect anything from anybody, and i do everything myself. It's a win-win situation. 1st prize." ----------"Really? I don't see that so. It's a lonely life, without help from anybody"-

I treid to interrupt, but he kept on going ignoring my tries to continue.

-"Yes, maybe you aren't dissapointed in people if you don't expect them to be good enough, but you don't give that person a chance to prove themselves, that they are good enough for you. They deserve that chance. That kinda makes you a stuck up bitch. Do you want that? Don't answer, it was a retorical question. Anyway... where was i?"-

He was confused by his own rant, this doesn't bode well for me...

-"Life is about taking risks, and enjoying the consecuences. If you don't take risks, you don't experience what is actually worthy of you. If you take a risk, maybe you win something worthwhile, or you face the consecuences. Even at the worst case scenario, you have a new experience and knowledge to boast about. And anyway, if that was a bad option, you learned from that mistake, and you won't make it again. In life you experience highs and lows, you need to know how to take that wave, and enjoy the view, so even if it was that you would have another worst moment. Just take it as it is.

If you won, you are a champion. You have the prize. When you play football (in american: soccer), you train knowing you may bust a knee, or have any type of injury, yet they train for the game where they play for the grand prize. If they injure themselves in the game, they know they gave it all to win, but if it's in the training they already start losing hope. But they have to trust their teamates, for them to win. It's similar with you. You take that risk, 2 things could happen:

1. You lose, and like i say before, you learn, plus, you have a new experience.

Or 2, you win. If you win, you could be the happiest person in the world just beacuse of that one little decision.

But the point of being positive is that, you are positive. You enjoy what life gives you. You share with your loved ones. You live, and aren't a zombie though life. See my point?"- He was a bit breathless, by the end of that monologue, with a possible slight interruption.



When i was little, i skipped a grade, so really, now i'm in my correct grade, since I've had to repeat 'cause i don't speak Spanish.
