Poker As A Family Game
The game starts with a small bet known as an "ante". Players are then dealt 2 cards, one faceup and one down. The pocket card, or face down card, is what players are called. As in 7-card stud poker, the player with the lowest face up card on the table has to start the betting. The betting round then continues with the player to the immediate left of the player who has placed the first bet. Players have the choice of folding, calling, and betting.

Now, a second betting round takes place.
