8) 2015 Nepal Aftershock Earthquake : On May 12, 2015, a major aftershock, preceding the Nepal Earthquake in April was observed which killed 200 people and injured 2500 of them.
9) 1906 San Francisco Earthquake : This earthquake resulted in breaking out of a great fire, which proved to be more destructive than the earthquake itself
10) 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami : This tsunami triggered by an earthquake was a destructive tsunami which occurred on December 26 and spread to areas such as Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia
