This past weekend a selection of our Kingswood pupils took half in the first of three Get Out and Run trails at Langley park. Our pupils volunteered their Sunday to help marshal and help on this neighborhood event which seeks to get our local people out into nature and more familiar with their surrounds. One one who is kind of synonymous with The Wyvern itself, is Ms Cornelia Sandi. 35 years ago, in 1986, Ms Sandi started her Kingswood journey when she was employed by Mr and Mrs Tommy and Kay Hartzenberg, who, on the time were the managers of The Wyvern. From the very starting, Ms Sandi began to weave herself into the lives and material of the Kingswood household.
The President of the Kingswood College Interact Club for 2021 is Atang Gabaraane and the Vice-President is Wanda Madasa. Last evening our Grade 12s gathered within the High Performance Centre for their Leavers Dinner. One of the particular moments of this celebration is that those who have determined to hitch the OK Club as Life Members were all sporting their Old Kingswoodian ties.
