That's the Boy!
A variation of the expression "That's the boy!", a cry of encouragement often used to praise children and pet dogs. Often shortened to attaboy!. (idiomatic, colloquial)

A Black mother bumps up against the limits of everything she thought she knew about science and medicine, about parenting, and about her faith as she searches for answers to her son's strange symptoms. When her round-cheeked, lively twenty-two month old begins to wake listless, occasionally unable to lift his head to gulp water, Taylor Harris can't ignore the alarming signs. She spends countless hours trying to navigate health and education systems that can sometimes seem hostile to Black mothers, and at night she googles, interrogates her every action, and prays, searching for the truth about what's wrong with her son.

Toby is a young man who was born and raised in the town of Concrete. He grows up to be a wisecracking prankster and a talented musician, but his life is blighted by the emotional abuse inflicted by his abusive stepfather Dwight. Despite the tumultuous relationship, Toby perseveres, using his wits and musical talents to rise above the hurt and find a way to leave Concrete behind.

Mallory is a former member of Payback who was ostracized from the team after Ms. Bradley of Vought-American exposed her sex life with transsexual prostitutes to escalate hostilities between the Boys and VA, but who later reunited with the group to help them fight Butcher's coup d'etat. She also reveals her own secret - she is a lesbian telepath whose powers allow her to connect with other women.

In season three, she helps retrain the reformed and dangerous Vought employee Stormfront in order to bring the company back from their Nazi roots and make it a pharmaceutical firm, and privately admires her while publicly disapproving of her. She is also the mother of the paraplegic paramilitary known as Blarney Cock and is dating a former Boys member.

Originally introduced in issue #49 as a member of Payback who yearns to join the Seven, Soldier Boy is a man of action and discipline who never resorts to foul language or sex, though he is seen in gay orgies with Homelander in the first season two episode "Herogasm Orgies". He accidentally interprets Homelander's sexual advances as a test for joining the team. He is the victim of a brutal attack by Butcher in the final episode of the second season. He is portrayed by Miles Gaston Villanueva. Luca Oriel portrays the teenage version in The Boys Presents: Diabolical. McElligott additionally voices the comic book version of Maeve in that series' episode "I'm Your Pusher". br>Esposito also voiced Stanley Edgar in the The Boys Presents: Diabolical episode "One Plus One Equals Two". animeindo He was replaced by Luca Oriel for the series finale. He also voiced the adult version of the character in The Boys Presents: Diabolical. The first episode of this documentary film premiered in September 1, 1993.
