we do insurance for all types of travel booking such as dummy for visa purpose & for assured travel too.

if one approaches us , check the travel policy of the account and then share the FORM with the traveler.
also check for CC details in profile , if not available ask the traveler to update
Once the customer shares the filled form , use the insurance link to initiate the insurance for the traveler.
Egencia book the Silver insurance unless specified for a higher category such as platinum.
Travel insurance is charged on the same as all other products for that account
fill the details from the template in order to confirm the same
share the pdf of it with the traveler for the confirmation.
raise a INSURANCE BILLBACK FORM ( not the same as other billback ) - if its a dummy insurance for visa or any other reason where PNR is not available then we have to put customers last name in the form in the airline PNR section.
MODIFICATION -

Raise the insurance billback to help generate invoice at the back end
to modify the insurance , log in to portal , click on manage policy , search by #policy number , customer name & click on Endorse to modify the traveler's name , contact details & passport number etc
We can make changes accordingly . Remember the change will reflect after 24 to 48 hrs so advise the same to the traveler accordingly or you may cancel and rebook if it's urgent travel.
To amend the date if travel has already started then he has to fill the travel proposal form.
then go to manage policy and click on extend. mention the new travel end date & attach the above form along with the insurance policy & click on submit. Raise the insurance billback with new revised amount
When the travel has already started but the traveler doesn't have insurance and is requesting for same . We need to share filled prime proposal , good health form , insurance template with the vendor to issue a new insurance& passport copy
For non-Indian passport holders , we need to share filled Travel proposal form , OCI card , passport copy, insurance template with the vendor to issue a new insurance
Also , Annual policies are also issued by vendor.

If we change the date and there is a price change then we have to raise a billback for the difference in the charges only .

Cancellation

go to the link
then go to manage policy
search by policy number
then there are 3 options - click on cancel (endorse is to modify & download pdf)
next page it will ask the reason
WE CAN CANCEL THE RESERVATION BEFORE 24HRS OF THE TRAVEL DATE WE CAN CANCEL WITHOUT ANY CHARGES .
after cancelling it we have to raise a REFUND FORM. Standard Refund form & attach the insurance copy

MANDATE DETAILS TO CHECK

Check the name & travel details from the profile. For any discrepancies, reach out to the customer for clarifications
It is mandate to document the insurance number, Salesforce details on the relevant booking in GDS
It is our responsibility to check for the active insurance referring the documentation in GDS & request the customer for further action.
Also, for extension of insurance we send request to Sahil & do the same offline
