Character spinoff; this is an au where Shadow and Sonic where brothers in a way because they where both made on the ARK by Professor Gerald Robotnik way back when. Shadow would be 4 years older than Sonic, so Shadow would be the big brother looking after Sonic with Maria. Sonic was only 16 when Maria died and it hurt him as bad as it did Shadow.
Extra twists; Shadow was like a Big Brother to Sonic, and literally grew up with Shadow, so they both care deeply about each other. the main difference of the two is that one has wings, and can transform into a merhog, a legend foretold to be of a cross between the mobian hedgehogs and the merfolk
