Five Card Draw Poker is the traditional favorite when it comes to playing poker at home. The game can be played up to five times. The initial ante and two additional rounds of betting are required for five card draw. Each player is dealt five face-down cards. They may discard/replace all or any portion of the cards during their initial betting round.

Or, they can choose to use only one of their four community cards and one of their pocket cards. Players can also choose to play the five community cards as their hand. This poker variation also includes a strategic element: one of your pocket card can be discarded.

Basic poker is played "table stakes", which means that only the chips available at the beginning of each hand can be used throughout the game. The "All-In? rule is an exception to the table stakes rules. This rule states that a player can't be forced to forfeit a poker game because he doesn't have enough chips. A player without enough cash to call a bet can be declared All-In. The player is eligible for the entire pot until the end of his final wager. All further action involving another player takes place in a'side pot', which is ineligible to an All-In player.

OThere's another round starting from the dealer's left. The dealer discards one card and keeps the river card. You can now use any of the five poker table cards or two pockets cards to create a five card poker hand.

The round is done. The next round starts by moving both the dealer button (and the blinds) one spot to each side. All players should wash their hands, rinse, then repeat the process for the next round.
