Led Dive Lights Are Brighter Than Traditional Dive Lights

Another place you can use LED's is in a hallway or on a staircase. Sometimes you need a little light in a dark hallway, especially when you get up in the middle of the night, but you don't always need the light to be as bright as possible. You've probably tried the standard light with the dimmer switch, but more than likely you turned it too far and nearly blinded yourself. LED rope lights along the bottom of the walls and on steps will guide you to your destination quickly and painlessly.

DO NOT use mains fairy lights, this is a fire hazard!

Outside compartments are also a great candidate for LED lights. These can be powered through a pin switch so that when you open the compartment door, the light turns on, and then off when you close the door. The color of the LED light is not so important as is the placement of the light. Compartments are usually rectangular in shape, so try and place the LEDs near the corners of the compartment. This way, you will get the most light to all parts of the storage area.

cat lamp Batteries can be a very important component in your selection of a lighting unit. Lights come in all shapes and sizes, and so do the batteries that power them. Many units use standard alkaline batteries ranging in size from Triple A to D cell, while others use NiCad or lithium batteries that can be more expensive. There is also the option of using rechargeable batteries. Keep in mind battery life, battery cost, and battery weight when you make your decision. A unit that uses several D cell batteries will be considerably heavier than a unit that uses three triple A batteries.

Some people believe that LED lights are not bright enough. Such conception, however, is not true because led light bulbs are bright and even have color temperatures that range from 2,500K to 6,500K. In fact, LED is common in traffic lights. This only proves that LED lights can be seen even during the day.

The actual cost of an incandescent bulb is a lot more than its initial price. Overtime you will end up paying much more in labour expenses, replacement costs and electricity bills.
