Goverment establish the program called National Service Training Program (NSTP), this is defense preparedness program that all citizen require to render personal, military or civic services. We all know the goverment have a duty to serve and protect its citizens, we also citizens of this country have a responsibilities which is to defense security of the state. NSTP has three program components the ROTC, LTS, and CWTS. The goal of these three components is to promotes awareness, preparedness, and to be knowdledgeable enough to serve and help or protect other people. ROTC is like military training in order to prepare students for war, this program usually found in criminology course. LTS is to train our future teachers to eradicate literacy and numeracy, when it say literacy its all about how to write and how to read and how to count or how to read numbers. And last is CWTS, this component is for general welfare of the community especially when there is emergency like flood or fire we will know how to deal with this kind of things, and we can also protect the environment.
As a nursing student, establishing this program help me to improve my skills, and those skills can help me to protect myself and my patient in any danger.
