This year, Showtime will reboot the famous TV show Twin Peaks. It's been 30 years since the first episode of the show premiered and it has continued to capture the attention of those who love David Lynch's dark style and mind-bending plots. In the early 1990's, Twin Peaks was the first of a series of strange television shows that caught the attention of viewers and wouldn't let go. Twin Peaks was a show which broke all the rules. Its unpredictability of characters and long story lines allowed for bizarre subplots to be introduced into shows and even violence and death on the screen. I don't think The X-Files or Lost would have enjoyed the same success if not for the hypnotic appeal of Twin Peaks.
