Chapter 1
page 6: I feel like this chapter starting off is like how most people are in a way. Doing work, listening to music daydreaming, stuff like that. It reminded me of when I would wait for someone to get me from school or when I'd wait to get my turn on the game. Then in the end when the mom tells them the music is over it's like how my mom tells me it's time for dinner or when I'm sleeping, and she wakes me up to tell me the movies are over or waking up for school.
Chapter 3
pages 12 and 13: It reminded me of going back to after a summer of not seeing people/friends. The narrator started off with him walking down the street as if they lived in Gotham city. The setting they described is a barren road, no insects or "lizards" crawling through the streets, "no birds chirping" and they go as far to say that the cracks in the street are melting while the sky is so pale, they think "everybody fled the and it's heat."
