Pot Odds - Your Secret Poker Weapon
Omaha poker can be played by up to ten players. Each player receives four cards from the dealer. After four rounds worth of betting, each player is dealt four cards face-down. Five community cards are then placed face-up at the table. They are shared equally by all players. Texas Hold'em is played over four betting rounds. Each player gets two cards, the hole cards. They also get five community cards that they can use for all players. The pot is won by the player who has the best five card poker hand at showdown.

The dealer will now "burn" one more card on the table. He then deals the final river cards to the board. Although there are now 5 cards on a table, Texas Holdem players can only use 3 of the cards to make their 5-card poker hand. The small blind is the first action in poker. The dealer acts last. Check, Bet, Raise, or Fold. The showdown will start once the round of betting is over.

After the blinds have been paid, each player is deal four cards face down by the dealer. These cards, also known as a player?s pocket cards (or hole cards), are to be kept secret from any other players. To create their final 5-card Poker hand, each player must only use two of the cards. Players can choose which two of their four pockets cards they want to use and combine them with three of five community cards to create their final 5-card poker hand.

BET - If there is no wager on the current betting round, a player may bet. If a player wagers, the poker players immediately clockwise from them (and any other poker players) can fold, raise or call.

After the blinds have been placed, the dealer will begin to deal the hole cards one by one to each player. Like in any poker variants, players are not allowed to have five cards. They have two cards. The hole cards must be combined with the community cards.

The board then receives the final card, a burn card. This card is known by the river. There are now 5 cards in the game. Every player now has their best five card poker hand.
