How to Make the Perfect Captain Hook Costume
Captain Hook is a vicious sinister pirate with hands that are hooked. It doesn't matter if you're preparing for a cosplay event or planning to dress up in your backyard, this guide will help you make the perfect costume for the infamous villain.

The NMMC exhibits a replica of the Captain Hook costume that was worn by Gerald Du Maurier back in 1904. This replica is part of NMMC's main exhibit titled 'Pirates.' Fashion historian Lucy Williams examines the design of the costume in this blog, while examining Edwardian costumes for theatre and nineteenth century ideas about pirates.
