Friz Goodall's promotional artwork from the 1907 production shows Hook’s straggly chenille wig and red sash, which matches his lips as well as his grey socks. The NMMC's costume may not be exact to the photos of the original by Du Maurier, the design conveys Hook's hair with straggly curls and a red sash that matches his grey stockings and lips. The outfit is completed with a hat cavalier. Hook also has a pistol.

Captain Hook is Peter Pan's archenemy. He is a pirate who flies the Jolly Roger. He is notorious and ruthless, but also a gentleman who is passionate about William Shakespeare's plays. He has a second hook hand that appears and works as a claw.
