Liberty National Life Insurance Review
Globe Life Insurance Company, formerly Liberty National Life Insurance Company, located in McKinney, Texas, offers individual and family coverage through employer-based group sales. It offers supplemental health and life insurance through its "employer-based" product portfolio. Licensed in 50 states, Liberty National has been founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 1900.
Liberty National's Web site contains lots of information for policyholders. Frequently asked cheap insurance (FAQs) about the company and its products are found there. Among the FAQs are questions on renewal, surrender fees, terminations and claims. Some of these questions are not exactly what the company tells its customers, but appear to be bits of advice that have been regurgitated from the Web site or are taken from the "About Us" page. These questions are important and deserve some closer scrutiny:
"I have read the Privacy statement and understand that the personal information we request will never be sold, shared or released to anyone else. "I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the communications that I have received from Liberty National Life Insurance over the past year. At first, their representatives did not seem to know much about my circumstances, let alone know how to answer my questions in an effective manner. I also received responses that were mostly generic and did not include any of my personal data such as age, gender, address or occupation. Their customer service representatives seemed more interested in selling insurance to me than in listening to my concerns or explaining their policies and procedures to me in a manner that I could understand."
" Liberty National Life Insurance's telephone customer service is horrid. At first I thought I was dealing with an answering service when I spoke with someone over the phone, but then I realized it was someone in-house who was supposed to take care of me. I also asked a few basic questions and they did not return my calls or return all my e-mails regarding queries about policies or matters relating to life insurance."
" Liberty National apparently believes in treating its agents and customers as nothing more than machines who take orders and do little else. The office environment at Liberty National Life Insurance seems to be overwhelmingly corporate and unprofessional. I believe the best policy for my family and I would be to invest in another independent insurance company that values the individuality of each customer as much as it does the profitability of the company. "I never understood what they offered in terms of financial planning, annuities, investments, and so on. They never explained anything beyond what the policy required. I'm sure if I had needed insurance just like they suggested I could have found a better company to go with. The agent I dealt with never returned any of my phone calls or wrote any of my e-mails. car insurance thornton wish I had never signed up with them because I really did not think they offered anything beyond what the policy required."
"If I had known how bad their customer service was before I purchased a policy from them, I definitely wouldn't have done so. I feel extremely uncomfortable dealing with them on a regular basis and I am very disappointed that I wasted money on their insurance policies and am not receiving any compensation from them." - Anonymous consumer
