Their hustle, rebounding and offensive rebounds have been crucial to the team's success.

Another building block has been the addition of new head coach Igor Kokoskov. The Russian has a long track record of winning with his teams in Europe and the NBA, and it's showing with his new crew. Kokoskov has the Suns playing with great energy and a ton of confidence. He has also helped develop some of their younger players, notably rookie center Deandre Ayton.

Phoenix's new arena has also been a huge boost for this team. The Suns opened Footprint Center on November 7, 1992, with a win against the Los Angeles Clippers. The arena was renamed Talking Stick Resort Arena after the company that owned it acquired the franchise in 2015.

The Suns' biggest legacy builder remains Steve Nash, who is still one of the best point guards in the league. His leadership as a floor general, dynamic scoring and passing skills have brought the Suns multiple deep playoff runs and a recognizable name for this franchise. He is the only current Suns player to have won a championship and has played in more Finals than any other active NBA player. On Friday, the team celebrated his storied career by inducting him into their Ring of Honor during halftime of a game against Oklahoma City. The ceremony was attended by many of his former teammates, coaches and friends from his time with the franchise. The event was a great way for the Suns to recognize his incredible career in Phoenix and give thanks to all of his hard work and dedication. We'll be watching for more great things from this team in the future.
