Did you know that the Swedish clothing brand, H&M, recently signed on to a massive contract to promote the efforts of the Fashion against AIDS cause? Indeed, it has been announced that the brand will undertake a massive campaign to target this group most vulnerable to contracting AIDS, which happens to be between 15 and 24.
The reason why these people are most at risk is easy - there exists a lack of understanding concerning the risks of AIDS, and schools still fail to educate students on the risks and dangers of unprotected sex. However, putting this aside, I believe it is beneficial to take a closer look at H&M's efforts in this area, to see just how charitable they really are.
By partnering with Designers Against AIDS - another similar group to promote the risks and dangers of the disease - people are in a position to purchase clothes made by actual superstars themselves. Simply take a glance at this set of musicians and actors, who've each decided to design a tank top, hooded sweater, or t-shirt from the beautiful "organic cotton" material that has been so exclusively popular at the H&M company.
These famous people include: Rihanna, Chicks on Speed, Good Charlotte, Henrik Vibskov, Jade Jagger, Justice, Katharine Hamnett, My Chemical Romance, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters, The Cardigans, Tiga, Timbaland and Ziggy Marley. If that's not star studded enough for you, then I have no idea what is! Of course, this will be a great opportunity to see precisely how naturally fashionable these celebrities are - because it will be their very own individual styles which are reflected in the H&M fashion products, at the end of the day.
Given the initial reaction to this project, it looks like H&M are on the right track with their efforts. The first release of the celebrity garments were sold-out within a day if they were first released in Barcelona - clearly a tribute to your time and effort, time, and resources which were put in to raising awareness for the cause. So how can you participate? Well, I suggest that you keep an eye out for another release of celebrity product, and then head straight down to the H&M store once you get word they are available. excel training know - you might just make it with time to grab yourself a bargain!
