Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner, Bentley's custom coachbuilding unit, has created a unique keycase to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Bentley brand. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a flying "B" paperweight keys, as well as an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Secure-A-Key is also available to protect against keyless entry theft. This device is put inside the remote-control key fob, and is turned off after a few minutes of inactivity. This prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that are able to unlock and start the vehicle.
Bentley's unique design reflects the values of the company, which include fine craftsmanship engineering expertise and modern technology. Over 4,000 employees are employed at its Crewe headquarters, where they are responsible for the development, design and production of Bentley cars. These workers apply the skills that have been passed through generations to current automotive technology. This is British manufacturing at its best.
Personalisation
Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers design their own car. The guests sit at a collection of pictures referred to as "mood stations" and pick a collection of photos - from scenic vistas to sporting events - that will inspire them. Each time a selection is made the pattern that emerges is the model colors, style and color preferences for the bespoke Bentley.
The guests receive a key case made by hand that houses the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can be fitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the pathway of the door opening with the owner's logo or name as they approach the vehicle.
Bentley claims it takes about 500 man-hours to design and put together the typical Mulsanne.
