Mojang's Minecraft is now up to 8 million in total sales on Xbox 360, the game's retail release clearly building on the XBLA version's success. Check out the UK charts this week. The Xbox 360 Edition is the fourth title to be Numero Uno in three weeks. The other three are The Last of Us and Dead Island: Riptide.
This happens as the Xbox 360 version prepares to launch Title Update 12. The full changelog is available on PlayXBLA. The PC version comes with Ocelots that frighten creepers into running and also the jungle biomes where they are born.
Silly season is almost over however there's plenty of time to take a break and watch the chaos unfold. It's another week of slowness in the UK Charts office. To find out you just need to watch FIFA 13 and The Smurfs 2 in second or third respectively.
In the midst of all the quiet and quiet, there's a promising debut for Tales of Xillia. IRC101 Namco's JRPG takes off to the heights of fourth place, which is somewhat of a surprise considering the series' previous track record in the UK - to compare with the previous year, Tales of Graces F debuted in 14th.
