BT21 Merchandise from Uniqlo J-Hope and More
BT21 are the adorable cartoon characters created by Kpop band BTS and messaging app LINE Friends in collaboration. They have become a worldwide hit. The cute cartoon characters are available for free in messaging apps and have their own merch line. Each of the eight BT21 characters - Tata, Mang Chimmy RJ Koya Shooky Cooky Van - represents a member of the group.

The band was invited to join LINE FRIENDS "FRIENDS CREATORS", a program where artists work together on product ideas and IP (intellectual properties). The boys sketched character ideas in a LINE Friends shop, and then designers helped them refine the rough sketches. Since then, the characters created have gained immense popularity in social media with 17 million stickers downloaded and 250,000,000 Twitter exposures.

Fans of BT21 can now purchase more merchandise, including clothing, accessories and home furnishings. These colorful cartoon character tees and sweatshirts are in high demand. Fans of the band will also enjoy the BT21 dolls and accessories such as plushies, backpacks, and smartphone accessories.

Uniqlo, too, has joined the bandwagon, offering a variety of T-shirts featuring the characters in different poses. These shirts start at $19 and feature designs of Mang dancing as well as the curious Tata. bt21plush was inspired by each member's personality, including their interests and style.

This week, BT21 merchandise will be available in-store and online. The designs feature each member's BT21 character. Tata is V's character. She is described as an alien with transforming abilities and stretchy limbs. V loves eccentric art and unique characters, so he's a perfect match.

Mang is J-Hope’s BT21 pony. It has a dancing nose with a heart-shaped shape. The tees feature the cute pony in neon colours and a skateboard. They reflect J-Hope’s style of dance, music and fashion.

RJ is RM's BT21 goofball character. He is a lovable rascal who loves to make jokes. The tee has a picture with him holding his hands to his hips in RM's trademark stance. Other members of the group have their own characters, such as a cat with monkey-like eyes, a unicorn wearing a bow of pink on its head and a bunny with a pink hat, which reflects Suga’s playful personality.

The BT21 merch is now available on the LINE STORE as well as at selected LINE FRIENDS flagships stores, such a Times Square. The store will feature a futuristic, space-themed section with a Mega Van statue as well as BT21 merchandise displayed throughout. The store will host a BT21 Experience Event and display BT21 videos on huge LED billboards located in Times Square.
