Motionless in white, also known as MIW is a metalcore American band hailing from Scranton (Pennsylvania). The band has released four studio albums along with three live performances and many music videos. The band's sound has been described as an amalgamation of metalcore with gothic nu, slash, and horror metal. Chris "Motionless Cerulli" (lead singer), Ryan Sitkowski, Ricky Olson and Vinny Mauo are the band members. The group has also been noted for their use of keyboard effects into their songs along with frequent use of breakups in the song structure.
The band debuted in 2017 with their fourth album, Graveyard Shift. Before the album's release the band dropped a single called Eternally Yours and held an contest for fans to submit their artwork to be used as the album's cover. In motionlessinwhitemerch was the band's first show on their Half God, Half Devil Tour.
The band toured for more than one month across the US and Europe before they began working on their next album. During this tour, special guests Miss May I & The Amity of Affliction joined the group. Devin Sola, the bassist was the last member of the group to leave after the tour citing mental health problems as the reason for his exile.
