H&M Consider Charity Too
Did you understand that the Swedish clothing brand, H&M, recently signed on to a massive contract to market the efforts of the Fashion against AIDS cause? Indeed, it's been announced that the brand will undertake a massive campaign to target this group most vulnerable to contracting AIDS, which is between 15 and 24.

The reason why this type of person most at risk is easy - you will find a lack of understanding about the risks of AIDS, and schools still neglect to educate students on the risks and dangers of unsafe sex. However, putting this aside, I believe it is beneficial to have a closer look at H&M's efforts of this type, to see precisely how charitable they are really.

By partnering with Designers Against AIDS - another similar group to market the risks and dangers of the condition - people are in a position to purchase clothes created by actual superstars themselves. Just take a look at this set of musicians and actors, who've each agreed to design a tank top, hooded sweater, or t-shirt from the stunning "organic cotton" material that has become so exclusively well known at the H&M company.

These celebrities include: Rihanna, Chicks on Speed, Good Charlotte, Henrik Vibskov, Jade Jagger, Justice, Katharine Hamnett, My Chemical Romance, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters, The Cardigans, Tiga, Timbaland and Ziggy Marley. If that's not star studded enough for you personally, then I don't know what is! Needless to say, this will be an excellent opportunity to see just how naturally fashionable these celebrities are - because it will be their own individual styles which are reflected in the H&M fashion products, by the end of the day.

Given the initial response to this project, it seems like H&M are on the right course with their efforts. The initial release of the celebrity garments were sold-out within a day if they were first released in Barcelona - clearly a tribute to the effort, time, and resources which were put in to raising awareness for the cause. So how is it possible to participate? Well, I suggest that you keep a watch out for another release of celebrity product, and head straight down to the H&M store once you get word they are available. You won't ever know - you might just make it in time to seize yourself a bargain!
