Snorlax is sometimes referred to as Kabigon in Japan. It's a huge bipedal carnivore Pokemon that comes from the Nintendo and Game Freak Pokemon franchise. The Snorlax design is one of the many ideas that were developed by the team that created Pocket Monsters and was finalized by Ken Sugimori, the character creator of the first generation Pokemon video games Red and Green.
Snorlax is a snoring Pokémon that is extremely sleepy and lazy. It doesn't respond to anything other aside from food. Snorlax can eat a entire year's worth of food in one go. It is the largest Pokemon within its Genus. The digestive juices of Snorlax are so strong that they are able to neutralize poisons. This enables it to eat anything even if it's contamination-free.
Snorlax Plush despite its insanity, is an extremely skilled combatant. It is able to easily take down any Pokemon that it comes across in combat. It has a potent attack known as Crunch to break any rock. A different technique, Swallow, allows it to consume poisons from Pokemon. Snorlax is also equipped with a power known as Poison Gas that can cause enemies to vomit and become paralyzed due to the gas.
Snorlax appears in a variety of episodes of the Pokemon cartoon most often as an obstacle to travel. Ash Ketchum's very first Pokemon was Snorlax in episode 41."Wake Up Snorlax. It became an obstacle to the city he was traveling to. It was rarely used and was mostly used for the Sumo Conference of Ring Masters and later when it was able to help him defeat Clair's Kingdra in their match.
