Jim Jordan Backs Trump's Reaction to Durham's Findings

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan stated that Donald Trump was 'right on the right track' in suggesting that Hillary Clinton's operatives should be killed after the former president claimed that her campaign was guilty of treason.



Trump unleashed a rage against Clinton Saturday after John Durham, the special counsel said that her team had attempted to spy on White House servers to discover connections to Russia to try to discredit the special counsel.



The one-term president said Durham's report was greater than Watergate and said everyone involved should be prosecuted and preferably executed.



"In a longer period of time in our country the crime would have been a crime punishable by death,' he said.



On Sunday, Jordan appeared on Fox & Friends where said backed Trump's declaration.



'We've never seen anything like this in history,' Jordan said. So President Trump's announcement yesterday, I believe is on the right track. This is truly unprecedented truly something that has never happened before in the history of our great country.'

Jordan added that the 'spying was worse than wethought.'

CNN reported last week that call logs that show Trump talking to Jordan for at most 10 minutes in the early morning following the insurrection on January 6, 2021 was obtained by the committee investigating the attack.



After Jordan refused to be interviewed The committee is currently debating whether to subpoena Jordan.



Jordan told CNN that he spoke with President Obama a few times throughout the day, but couldn't recall the specific times.



After Trump's unsuccessful appeal to keep them secret, the Supreme Court ruled in his favor and the call logs were handed over to the House Committee.



'President Trump was correct. Remember in 2017, when President Trump said they [Democrats] were spying on me and all the press and all the Democrats said no, they weren't and then in 2019, then-Attorney-General Bill Barr said spying took place...' Jordan told Fox & Friends hosts on Sunday.



"Now we know for sure...Yes, there was spying happening and it was more serious than we thought , as they were spying on the sitting President of the United States.'



"We are aware that John Durham is going back to the beginning...It's all about the lies that started in 2016, when they began all this concerted effort for the Presidential campaign. This is what's so scary here",' Jordan added.



On Saturday, Trump ranted that Team Clinton's conduct could had merited the punishment of execution.



Following Durham's disclosures, it was revealed that Hillary Clinton's campaign paid money for a tech company to "mine data" from servers at Trump Tower and later the White House, they spoke.
