The epic battle game has attracted more than 200 million players during the period it was available. Of these, 78.3 million are active players. Are you not sure of the significance? Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron even incorporate the game into a touchdown celebration dance.



It's not all sunshine and roses for Fortnite however. Fortnite has been criticised for its use of dance moves and is currently facing lawsuits to determine whether copyright laws are infringed. Fortnite has become so big (or out of control depending on your perspective) that parents are hiring coaches to help their children achieve success in the virtual world. Purchases can be made within the game for V-Bucks which in turn pay for skins, pickaxes and gliders, battle passes and other stuff. Fortnite Save the World, a new version of the game, is available. Players are required to buy it. Epic Games, the game's creator, says it will be free to play in 2018.

If you haven’t seen someone floss, it is likely that your eyes haven’t been open. The dance was invented in 2016 by a YouTube star who was 15 years old. The YouTube sensation was dubbed "the backpack kid," he later performed the oddly hypnotic dance move during Katy Perry's appearance on Saturday Night Live. Fortnite added the dance to its dance emotes and it really made an impression.
