Kanye West's Yeezy Sweatshirts include a Nazi Swastika
The merchandising of Kanye West is an integral part of the streetwear culture. His Adidas-branded Yeezy shoes are very popular. The latest project however, has generated controversy. The rapper seems to be advertising sweatshirts that looks like the shape of a Nazi swastika. It is unclear whether the sweatshirts were sold by Ye or other third-party sellers. The images of the sweatshirts have been widely shared on social media.






Despite the controversy in the media, it appears Ye isn't stopping his campaign for the sale of white supremacist-themed merchandise. Amazon and eBay have published a variety of listing of Ye24's merchandise. These include t-shirts, phone cases and hoodies. They also have the logo which appears to spell out the word "Ye" with an swastika-like symbol. According to Vice the sweatshirts are part of a larger range of merchandise featuring images of white supremacists. The company says that the designs originated with white supremacists on 4chan in November. They were then incorporated into merch through online sellers and print-ondemand platforms.





Although there is no proof that Ye had any direct involvement in the creation of ye 24, his anti-Semitic beliefs seem to have been a factor in its formation. Numerous online groups, such as the Anti-Defamation League and the Combat Antisemitism Movement have called out Ye for his part in mainstreaming anti-Semitic beliefs. His use of the symbol of the swastika an earlier tweet led to him being suspended by Twitter CEO Elon Musk.





Prices for ye24 merch range between $20 and $50,000. The shirts have been created by a variety of companies, including the famous "Trump Store." He's reportedly planning to make use of them in order to promote his presidential bid in 2024.
