What is the Mob Vote and how does it work?

Every year, the wonderful Minecraft community helps shape the game by voting for a new mob! Following previous votes, Minecraft has added the following mobs: the glow squid and the allay. Make sure you choose carefully. Please.





When can I vote?

The voting period begins at 12PM EDT on the 14th and ends at 12PM EDT on October 15. While you only get one vote, you may alter it as many times as you like within these 24 hours.





Can I vote on Twitter in this year's election?

We want everyone who plays Minecraft to have a voice. That is why we have moved the vote to our platform. The voting process is available in Minecraft.net's launcher and our special carnival map, Bedrock Edition, will ensure that your vote remains anonymous until Minecraft Live 2022 when our hosts announce the winner!

How do I vote in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition?

Make sure Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is installed on your device. Start the game and tap the Minecraft Live button located in the bottom left corner of the main screen. The hardest part is done selecting which mob you would like to vote for!





Why should I vote in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition?

This map, which is carnival themed and multi-player, lets players from all over the world to vote together for their preferred mob. Once you've decided which mob you want Minecraft to join and you are able to use the lever to vote! What happens if I don't have Bedrock Edition?
