Minecraft ditches Super Duper graphics plan

Minecraft will keep its block-based design for the foreseeable future , as plans to revamp its graphics are canceled.
Mojang, a Minecraft developer, announced that it had halted development of the Super Duper graphics package for the game.
The pack would have offered realistic textures, lighting effects and all-around better graphics.
The pack has proven "too technically demanding" so it was discarded.
'Disappointing'
The plan to make Minecraft look more realistic was revealed in 2017 at the E3 games show. The goal was to make a downloadable add-on that completely dispensed with the basic, blocky look of the massively popular game.
Mojang announced in 2017 that it would develop an add-on for Minecraft for Xbox. This will allow the game to run in 4K resolution on the console.
The Super Duper addon was originally scheduled to debut in autumn 2017. However the date of release was moved to 2018. It was then cancelled completely in the year 2019.
It apologized for the technical requirements of the update.
It stated: "We are sorry for your disappointment. There was enthusiasm for Super Duper both in and outside the studio, but we are not happy with the performance of the pack across devices."
Mojang also announced that it's not finished with enhancing the appearance of Minecraft on various gaming devices and promised to share more details soon.
